Common Mistakes to Avoid (Stop Dying!)

Common Mistakes to Avoid

7 Common Mistakes to Avoid in Solo Hunters ❌

Are you dying a lot? Dealing low damage? You might be making one of these common mistakes.

1. Ignoring the “Sharpshooter” Stat

The Mistake: Putting 0 points into Sharpshooter. The Fix: Sharpshooter increases damage to bosses. Without it, you deal 50% less damage to bosses. Keep it at 30% of your build.

2. Spreading Stats Too Thin

The Mistake: Trying to be a “Hybrid” Warrior/Mage/Tank. The Fix: Pick ONE damage stat (Strength OR Intelligence). If you split them, you will be weak at both.

3. Upgrading Low-Tier Gear

The Mistake: Spending gold to upgrade a Common (Gray) Weapon to +10. The Fix: Only upgrade Rare (Blue) or better items. Replace gray items as soon as possible.

4. Tanking Damage

The Mistake: Standing still and trading hits with enemies. The Fix: This is an action RPG. Use Dodge (Spacebar)! Even Tanks need to dodge boss mechanics.

5. Forgetting Dailies

The Mistake: Logging out without checking Daily Quests. The Fix: Dailies give Gems. Gems = Power. Do them every day.

6. Skipping Mobs in Dungeons

The Mistake: Rushing straight to the boss. The Fix: You miss out on XP and loot drops from elite mobs. Kill everything unless you are speedrunning for a specific boss drop.

7. Not Using Codes

The Mistake: Playing without free boosts. The Fix: Check our Codes Page weekly.
